I used to lift weights in my early 20's, but never The motivation was as odd hours, and went downhill. A guy was talking about working in the gym, I can show muscular fitness, and I thought …. Oooh, it is too late to work in the gym again? (For more than 45 years) Muttering about this idea … Where do I start …..? I've heard some women at 40 were able to maintain their workout and a good feel for proper diet, work and swimming in the pool for "elastic" to muscles. re curious, what about women who are anti-anti-depressants and can work in the gym, there is damage to these areas? First friendly of all – congratulations! Strength training for women is one of the best ways to combat depression. I have worked with many, the enormous changes in their mood at the beginning, have been in a training program weight training. I agree with others – start easily. Your body will need time to adapt to new tensions in your muscles. I recommend using machines as a starting point, many groups working muscle at a time, and usually are ergonomically as such, where it is difficult to be injured designed. Then after a few months, you can return to work to free weights to adjust your body. – Congratulations!
