What are the muscles must work for the ballet of the increase in my partner?

I am a dancer while a PA with two another dancer. I am male and Dance) has been partly because of my strength in the upper body and quads (I did gymnastics for years. The choreography has many ski lifts in it, and I wonder what specific muscles that should work on increasing my partner. There is very light and shorter than me … I'm pretty with the ballet, but not the male parts of it =). Should I be in the process of building more and more push-ups every day in my arms (with my dance classes a day), or should work on specific muscles? Thank you!
